for out-door treatment with voucher under BSNLMRS to Pensioners
Corporate office has
issued specific orders with regard to payment for out-door treatment with
voucher under BSNLMRS. The payment is
to be made within one month from the date of submission of bills. But in Tamilnadu Circle, we get complaints
from almost all the SSAs that the payment is unduly delayed. No payment has been made for the past six
months. We do not know the reasons for
the delay. If it is on account of
introduction of ERP, alternate methods should be made to make the payment.
2. We got complaints
from Salem, Coimbatore & Tuticorin that the consultation fees as charged by
the doctor with due receipt is not reimbursed and the amount is cut
arbitrarily. We have complaint from
Coimbatore SSA that the payment for out-door treatment with voucher is
restricted to CGHS rates. The orders
issued by Corporate office does not give any authority to anyone at the lower
level to restrict the payment in such a way.
The only restriction is ‘Annual ceiling’ for each individual. When our representatives discussed the issue
with the concerned officers in Coimbatore SSA, they were informed that it is
done as per Circle office orders.
3. We are poor
pensioners and the health problem is most important for all of us and we expect
the BSNL management to pay the dues in accordance with Corporate office orders
and also in time.
