LADY DELEGATES, PLEASE NOTE....

Reception Committee has made exclusive arrangement of accommodation for lady comrades attending our AIC in Bangalore. The accommodation is in Sardar Patel Bhavan, very near to the meting hall. This accommodation can not be shared by men.

Hence, couples coming for the AIC may arrange their luggage separately so that they can independently stay. Reception Committee has arranged hotel rooms for those couples who wanted it.

Those who did not intimate this requirement have to make their own arrangement.

THE LIGHT FROM MADURAI......

Com. Dharmarajan, District Sercretary of AIBSNLPWA, Madurai SSA (Tamilnadu) informs that the total paid up membership of his district Unit has reached 1536. 1202 Annual and 334 Life members 

Very regular, systematic functioning of the team of leaders in Madurai has gained the confidence of Pensioners and hence this unique achievement.

The District branch has sent Rs 45000 to the Reception Committee for our ensuing All India Conference in Bangalore, donated by 900 members.

3. I am in Karnataka for the last few days. Com. DG, our Vice President also came over here.
4. [GS Com. Natarajan and Treasurer Com. Gunasekaran are in Nagpur for Maharastra Circle conference.]
5. Myself and Com. Gopalakrishnan discussed with Com. G Babu, Com. Gangdhara Rao, and Com. Changappa, President, Vice President and GS of the Reception Committee, about arrangements made by RC for holding our next AIC on 21st and 22nd instant.
6. It is understood that they have booked good Halls to hold the meeting and to accommodate the delegates. Vibrant activities are visible here in Bangalore. Bangalore comrades are enthusiastically waiting for the delegates from all parts of the country. But, many of the SSA units or Circle units have not given clear information about arrival and departure of their delegates. Reception Committee can receive them properly only if details of the arrival are intimated to them.
Anyway, next AIC is going to be a milestone in the history of our mighty organisation, AIBSNLPWA.

78.2% IDA

 

  DEMONSTRATIONS ON 5-11-2015 in Tamilnadu

Chennai

Combined demonstration was held by Chennai Telephones and Tamilnadu Circle branch  Chennai at 11.00 Hrs on 5-11.15 in front of Jt.CCA Office, 60, Ethiraj Salai, Egmore, Chennai. 
Com    M. Murthy, CHTD Circle President & Com K. Muthiyalu, TN Circle President  jointly presided the demonstration. After the demonstration, Com  M. Govindarajan welcomed all the pensioners and spoke about our 78.2% Pension revision demand. 
Comrade V.Ramarao has spoken about recent development in 78.2% and got signatures from our members to send a letter to Hon.PM seeking honourable PM 's intervention for earlier settlement.
Our leaders met Jt.CCA and briefed about our demonstration.

300 members including 30 women pensioners joined to our call

125 members including 25 women participated in the demonstration.

more than 40 members attended.

MEDICAL CLAIMS BY PENSIONERS

There is some result of our CHQ's continuous efforts:

BSNL Corporate Office has issued an instruction to all Circles on 23-10-2015

that the medical claims by pensioners should be settled within one month.

FUTURE PENSION REVISION

On future pension revision of BSNL retirees, applying the formula to be recommended by the 7th CPC, we sent a representation to Shri Ananth Kumar, Honourable Minister for Chemicals & Fertilizers. It was promptly forwarded to Communications Minister by Shri Ananth Kumar. Communications Minister has intimated in a reply to Shri Ananth Kumar that the Department of Telecom has sent their comments on our memorandum to Pay Commission on 17th August 2015.

LIFE CERTIFICATE

ACCEPT AND ACKNOWLEDGE

Department of Expenditure (Finance Ministry) has issued fresh instructions on 16-10-2015 to all banks to accept the Life Certificates from pensioners at any of their branches in India and issue an acknowledgement receipt to the pensioners. [Copy of the order is available in IMPORTANT ORDERS of  CHQ- Website.]
