CMD ON FUTURE WAGE
REVISION
Mr. Anupam Srivasatava, CMD BSNL told in Bangalore yesterday
that there will not be any salary revision in BSNL next year unless the company
becomes profitable.
He told that last year there was an operating profit of Rs 672
crore. He
has not made it clear whether he wants net profit or operating profit to give
salary hike to serving staff.
His statement is a clear warning to the people who are demanding
pension revision along with wage revision in BSNL.
