PROGRAMME DEFERRED
The Secretariat our CHQ met at CHENNAI on 29-4-15.
It reviewed all the developments regarding 78.2% to
PENSIONERS. IT took into consideration Hon.
Minister Shri Anantha Kumars intervention, subsequent
meetings with Secretary DOT, Member (F),
Member (S) and Director (Estt) and also the opinion of Com D.D.
Mistry, G.S. BDPA Gujarat ( The only BSNL
Pensioners Organisation to respond to our call). It was finally
decided to POSTPONE the
programme of dharna on 13-5-15. We request the Circle Secretaries
kindly to
inform our District Branches. Detailed
Circular will follow.

BANGLORE AIC: 21-22, NOVEMBER 2015
As announced earlier, next All India Conference of
AIBSNLPWA will be held in Bangalore city
in the month of November 2015.
Earlier, the dates were tentatively fixed as 2nd and
3rd November.
Now it is changed to 21st and 22nd November
2015.
The Bangalore comrades desire participation of Shri Anantha
Kumar, Honourable Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers.
He is normally available in Bangalore on
Saturdays and Sundays. Hence, the change of dates.
We will definitely invite Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad,
Honourable Minister for Communications
as well as senior officers of Telecom Commission.
RECEPTION
COMMITTEE headed by Com. G Babu, Com. Changappa, Com. Gururajan etc.
is
on the job with great dedication.
They
want to hold the AIC in the prestigious Dr AMBEDKAR BHAVAN, Vasanth Nagar,
Bangalore,
only
at walking distance from Bangalore Cantt Railway Station.
Marriage
halls, very adjacent to the Ambedkar Bhavan, have been booked for accommodating
the Delegates.
Unprecedented
great enthusiasm has been generated in the minds of BSNL pensioners in
Karnataka, and especially in Bangalore, by Comrades G Babu, Com. Srinath
(Former District Secretary), Com. Ranganayakulu (District President), R
Changappa (District Secretary as well), Com. M Shanmugam (District Treasurer),
Com.
Gangadhara Rao (AGS) and other leaders by their words and deeds.
Some
comrades have donated Rs 10000, Some others Rs 5000 and almost everyone Rs 2000
or more.
Bangalore comrades are
waiting for the opportunity to host the historic event in their beautiful city.

CDA FROM JANUARY:
WILL BE PAID IN MAY ...
There is a hike of 6 percent in Central DA with effect from
January 2015.
But, a formal decision by Government and issuance of
order was delayed this time.
The order is issued only yesterday, the 27th April 2015.
The Central Govt Employees and Pensioners will receive the CDA
increase only with
their Pay/Pension of May 2015.
7th CPC REPORT THIS YEAR ?
According
to UNI, Shri Arun Jaitley, Finance Minister answering a supplementary
question
in
the Parliament said that the Report of 7th Central Pay Commission is
expected this year itself.
It
means Financial year ending on 31-3-2016.
