A USELESS  LETTER, INDEED....

Please go through the letter, attached below this matter.  It is a letter from the PAT Section

in Corporate Office of BSNL to Heads of all Circles. Corporate Office has quoted a letter from 

DoT and sought for some information from the Circles.

There is a particular sentence in that DoT letter, as quoted by BSNL CO.

"How his Dearness Relief who have never retired was regulated, whether under CDA rate or IDA rate?"
Where is the question of granting any Dearness Relief to someone who have NEVER retired?

Either the DoT has not understood the case before them.

Or, the BSNL CO has not reproduced the DoT letter correctly.

Result is clear: Circles will not  provide the information sought for.
This is the quality of work in the Directorate now a days....

Retired Pakistan Railway pensioner dies 

while waiting for his pension;

The unrelenting financial crisis at Pakistan Railways (PR) has finally claimed a pensioner’s life while he waited overnight to receive his pension. According to the reports Mahmood Khan, who was a former railway employee, passed away while waiting for his pension. Khan, who was a resident of Lalpur area of Lahore, stood all night alone in front of the bank before he fell unconscious and was taken to the hospital in an emergency, where he expired.
Pakistan Railway employees have not been given with their salaries for the past three months, whereas pensioners are also waiting for around one month. Therefore several pensioners were sitting outside a local bank since yesterday night because as per the promises made the distribution of pensions was due to begin Wednesday (today) morning .
